My Personal Story
From Tapped Out to Tuned In
Hello, I’m Michele. It’s lovely to meet you!
Giving Birth to a New Life & Movement - Juicy Conscious Living
People often ask me 'What is juicy conscious living'? Probably because I’ve been talking about it one form or another for close to 15 years. My very first published blog was called ‘My Juicy Peaches’, which is a story for another time. ;-)
I like to think of juicy conscious living as a personal philosophy for living your best life as your best self. It’s a way of being, thinking, and acting that results in you creating your life by design rather than by default.
It's not a prescribed one-size-fits-all philosophy.
It's a discovery. A co-creative process with the hidden universal laws that govern our world. An unfolding and unraveling of the brightest version of YOU.
When you are living a life by design, you:
☀︎ Have a crystal clear vision of the life and person you are becoming
☀︎ Pay attention to your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and become a student of human potential
☀︎ Are in the driver’s seat and play the lead character in your life
☀︎ Listen and learn from your external circumstances and conditions, but are not controlled by them
☀︎ Explore what it means to be the best version of yourself and how SHE thinks, feels, and shows up in the world
In contrast, when you are living a life by default, you:
🚫 Are simply going through the motions of your daily life, hoping to survive until the weekend or your next vacation
🚫 Have a murky picture of what it is you truly want and lack a definite plan for getting there
🚫 Feel like you’re drifting most of the time
🚫 Have areas of your life that just feel dull, dim, & drab
🚫 Dream about how your life could be, but put those dreams in a drawer for “someday” or call them “impossible”
For the first 39 years of my life, I can honestly say that I had been mostly living a life that was expected of me. I had followed a path that many of us take – the one our family, teachers, community, society, and culture have conditioned into us about what success and the “good life” is supposed to look like. College education. The career. The relationships. The home. The car. The vacations.
When I turned 39, though, something happened to me that shook me to my core. I had a medical scare one night sitting alone drinking red wine in my 2 bedroom condo. I ended up in the ER later that night with pains in my chest feeling like I was having a heart attack. Thankfully it only turned out to be the worst anxiety attack I’d ever had.
I knew that everything needed to change in my life from that day forward. I was overweight. Stressed to the max. A workaholic clocking 70-80 hours per week. And my 900-square-foot condo was “organized” to the rafters with “stuff” purchased as a way to soothe my soul.
This philosophy of juicy conscious living has evolved and become integrated into my way of being every day since that scary life-altering night. I’m so very grateful to be able to share this philosophy and teach these principles for #juicyconsciousliving through my core offerings, writing, and coaching programs.
May you always SHINE bright from a place of deep inner knowing, feminine wisdom, and your divine purpose.

Technically speaking, I have B.S. degrees in mechanical engineering and engineering physics. Though my career took a left turn into education technology after receiving those degrees, I still maintain a passion & curiosity to understand all the ways our world works, and especially how the universal laws influence and impact our human experiences.

When you spend more than 25 years working in the field of education technology, you learn a thing or two about how people learn and best practices around education delivery and experiential learning. Somewhere along my long and varied path, I even picked up a certification in Basic Instructional Design, the principles of which I apply to all my online courses and program delivery.

I walked through the 1-way gate of personal growth & development in 2008 and my life was never the same. I’ve come to believe that the subject of YOU is one of the best things you could ever study. My own personal work over the past 15+ years led me to pursue writing, teaching, and coaching.

For more than 5 years, I had the honor & privilege to be trained and mentored by Bob Proctor. In 2021, I received my coaching certification from the Proctor Gallagher Institute.
